what ac did i see

what ac car did i see today,
very small aerodynamic hatchback, looked a little bit like an mgb gt, the rear no. plate was enclosed in glass.

i think it was the ace from the mid to late 80's almost v8s from the rear but more soft i have a piccy in a book but cant seem to find it on google, dont think they made to many,

Sounds like a Ginetta possibly?

Sounds like an Aceca to me, the Greyhound is noticably larger than a BGT, the rear looks more like a DB4.
