I've forgotten who I' insured with, what do I do?
Discussion
I have recently moved house and in the process I have mislaid my Insurance documents.
I am changing cars shortly so I will need to change the car that is on my policy.
How do you find out who you are insured with, I tried the police, but they won't tell me due to data protection and my bank / credit card won't help either.
Any ideas?

Surely you just go back through your statements until you find a payment for an insurance company, thats the only way? Unless you do it monthly..I am changing cars shortly so I will need to change the car that is on my policy.

I was going to start a similar thread.
I was a named driver on company insurance for five years. The company went bust a few months back and I can't find out who I was insured with.
I already had about ten years no claims.I will be gutted if I have to start from scratch.
Got a quote for a £1500 mx-5 with zero no claims £3300
Is there anyway for me to find my previous company's insurer?

If you were on a company insurance as a named driver you won't have been accumulating a no claims bonus, that is only for the policy holder. Some insurers do give an introductory discount to people coming off company car schemes although you have to be careful, they are an introductory discount so all you'll have the following year is one year's no claims.I was a named driver on company insurance for five years. The company went bust a few months back and I can't find out who I was insured with.
