Do you like burgundy coloured cars?
Discussion
I quite like this colour or whatever else is damn near this shade, but a few people i speak to think its horrible on cars
One of these conversations started ( and based on ) when this drove past.

If i were to ever have one it would be in this colour or black, i think it really suits it. I understand there are some cars that dont suit certain colours ( Black Ferrari 360 spider has just sprung into my mind, [ now awaits an internet b
king! ]) but the reaction i get back i cant sometimes understand the logic!
I mean i like TVR's and i really like them in burgundy, like this

But i get the same reaction, thats a s
t colour. Is it really that bad or are they mad?
Talk to me!

I know people obviously buy them in burgundy but what type of person actually sits in a dealership, looks at the colour choices, goes through them all and decides that burgundy will be nicer than all of the others???
I've often wondered much the same about silver/grey. kambites said:

I've often wondered much the same about silver/grey. They think they're getting a practical colour which won't be difficult to keep clean and won't affect resale in much the same way they believe that buying a new car will save them hassle with repairs etc.

Obviously all choices are personal but I don't think I've ever seen a burgundy car that looks better than silver or grey.

Personal, indeed. I do not believe there is any colour that looks worse than silver/grey. I'd rather drive a pink car with lime green spots than a silver one.
