List is below.

From what you have seen which ONE would you have and, just as importantly, why.....

- F458
- Gallardo
- DBS
- V12 Vantage
- Mclaren MP12
- Mercedes SLS AMG
- 911 GT2 RS
- 911 Turbo S
- 911 GT3 (RS or not)
- A N Other (but assume Veyrons / Enzos etc are in the hyper car league rather than supercars)

I'd have a '92 NSX.

Because they're bloody rare and reviews always rate highly...

V12 Vantage, for the snarl form the exhausts, and also because i imagine it would be good for freaking people out behind. They come up behind, think'oh a v8 aston, watch me fly past' only for the car in front to tear off into the distance.

DBS

Why?

Because when I look at it I get a stiffy.

very good car....

sorry I should say I was thinking more about modern cars , i.e. say within the last few years, before I get lots of replies about why other great cars were excluded

Not sure £300,000 cars were included in this list that seems to hover below £200,000...

Gallardo for me because after driving one around Silverstone, i fell in love with them.
I have always loved Lambo's though.

They haven't always been that dear, and I certainly dont put them in the same frame as Enzo/Veyron, or F50 even. They were quite 'common' compared to some.

911 GT2 RS

To drive a car like that hard would be what it means to really live.

Distinction between Sports Car and Super Car

I'd consider the Gallardo to be a Sports Car, whilst the Murcielago is a Super Car.

Porsche 911's - All sports cars (even the GT variants), the Carrera GT is a Super Car

Would the Veyron be a Super Car, or a Hyper Car?

fair challenge - probably mean sports cars rather than super cars

would say a veyron is a hyper car

but more importantly what would you have?

don't forget the why either !

Wasn't trying to be clever... something that has always interested me.

Anyway.

All time....

Ferrari 288 GTO

(They say you should never drive your hero, but I would make an exception here)

Current.....

Lamborghini LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni

Having said that, the R8 V12 (spyder) would probably get the nod if I were a little short of the readies.
