Thinking of getting one as a xmas present, an air impact wrench. Just wondered if the compressor has to be of a certain strength, the one that we have is good, but I wanted to make sure that it didnt have to be at a certain rating to function properly?

Snap-on air tools are expensive for what you get. They make ncie spanners & screwdrivers, but there are better cheaper impact guns around.
Mind you, I've got their battery impact gun & its brilliant, bought it second hand from our local Snap-on dealer for around £70. I'd never go back to an air one, especially for light/occasional/ mobile use.
