thanks guys, he just said he doesn't do warranties...dont know why, always worrying no? but does have full service history
He's a dealer, he doesn't have a choice, it's the LAW!
1) He's not even aware of the laws that are applicable to the motor trade
2) He doesn't want to sort out anyone's problems post-sale
Due to those facts, even if the law states he has to do X/Y/Z you could end up having such a battle it's not worth the effort. It's for exactly these reasons I'd rather now buy private, and have an immediate couple of hundred quid saving (at least) to act as 'insurance' against any faults. Less hassle, less outlay.

Cheers,
Rob

They are made in france. not at all the japanese made and reliable cars you expect.
When you go to see them you will see a little sticker in the top left of the window with 'made in france'. it's a warning.
I had a 53 plate one for a year, luckily with full toyota warranty. it spent about a month in the garage being fixed.
On the other hand they do handle well, but the 1.3 doesn't have enough poke, especially for hills, so you do have to push it. get the 1.5 instead.
The rear seats moving backwards and forwards is awesome though, so make sure this works. it's a godsend if you have a lot of shopping or need a lot of leg space in the back. just not both together!
