335d or 535d?

I have read several topics about these two cars.
I know that performance is amazing for diesel.
I do like the look of E92 335d coupe and also the look of E60 LCI 535d. I hate the look of E90 sedan...

Prices found in the market (Germany, Bulgaria) are about the same for both (30.000 euros for 335d well equipped and 30.000 euros for 535d LCI)
I know that 535d is more luxurious and spacious than 335d. I really do not need the roomy advantages of E60, but I understand that with the same amount of money I get a better car (quality, comfort, and ride).

The car will have a daily driving, and I am used to travel about 40-50.000 miles (60.000-70.000 kilometres) per year. I use the car also inside towns (like Athens) were is too much traffic.

I like travelling comfort (like being in TGV), but also to have some fun with car...(power sliding when able to do it)....

Can 535d be a luxurious travelling vehicle and at the same time be a sport sedan that can put a smile on my face?
Or should I prefer 335d better for the above reasons???

I used to combine the above with a Prius and a 350Z (previous with an Elise). Now I would like to have one vehicle to have the best from both worlds...

So is the E6o sport ? Or is the E92 a cruiser??

I got a 535d earlier this year as my "sensible" business car ( I have a couple of TVRs that I use for playtime). I have been blown away by the fun to be had in the 5er. No, its not a ports car, but flick the TC off, pop it into sports mode and you can have some excellent sideways fun. The flappy paddle (sports auto) box is pretty good too. As a motorway muncher, it does its job well (with a bit if wind noise north of 85 I am told) and turns in sensible mpg numbers too. I love mine, hope you get one too

If you dont need the extra space, go for the smaller lighter car.

Either are great cars.

My E92 335d surprised some very serious machinery when I had it - and no, it wasnt chipped!

Personally, 5 Series all the way. It has a better image and just looks so much more car on the road. Also it is a far better looking car and if i was covering those miles i would prefer to do it in style and comfort. The 3 series is more common than the Mondeo these days, that should say it all!!

I'm 31 and say 3 series as you don't need the space it's more economical and sporty. but if your doing that sort of mileage then an e60 se would make more sense.

Personally, I'd go for the E60 530d and remap it if you want more power.

Even better if you get the estate with M sport pack and blacked out windows. I'm trying to convince Mrs DS to get one of these.

And the coolest bit? Those little orange LED "eyebrows" - proof that DRLs don't have to be tw@tty!

have found the following three cars.

The cars are located in Bulgaria (very close to me). I live in Greece/Europe.

If anybody can explain me (maybe from the photos) what kind of options have the following ads.

I see that car No1 has some more extras. To the left side of the of the wheel there are more buttons and also in the center console there are more.

Car No2 and No3 has a sport button near the shift knob controller and paddles on the wheel.

Please help me what to choose. What is your opinion. I like luxury extras, but also like the sport feeling.

Should I buy the car No1 and make Sportautomatic DIY and fit also some paddles????

The prices you see are the bulgarian currncy. Divited by 2 and you find euros.

I am a big 5 Series fan but the E60 is a drop in quality from what you'd normally expect for a 5 Series and therefore there isn't much in it quality wise E60 v E92.

Both are well built cars. In the past (and again now with the F10) the 5 Seriwas a 'very well built' car.
