Hi there,
Im brand new to this interesting site, and would like to start with a question about cpc.
I hold a LGV 2 licence,but only drive a 7.5t vehicle for my employer,so would i still need a cpc
when this stupid e.u directive comes into force in 2014?

As a new HGV driver I have just had to do my CPC and apart from being a monumental waste of time and money, there was a lot of talk between the testers and trainers. Seems like the CPC may well get chucked anyway, so I wouldnt worry about it for the time being.

Yes, my understanding is that CPC will be required for anyone driving anything larger and including C1 and D1 catergories, providing that driving is the main part of their job.
