To think using a mobile phone is dangerous.

Over the past few months I've seen people (mostly girls).....

- Doing their make-up
- Having a bowl of cereal

Woman yesterday was trying to calm her baby down by looking ahead, seeing all was OK and then turning round to entertain it! then looking forward occasionally to check all was still OK.

M,akes my f@cking blood boil, how idiotic some people are!!!

I recently followed a car, on the way to work, which was weaving about abit. Seeing as I work nights I assumed it to be a drunk driver. We stop at a set of lights and I took my attention away from the road/lights/car infront to light a ciggy, when I look back there is someone in the passanger seat. I am certain there was only one person (visible) inside the car before we stopped for the lights. Lights turn green, driver is no longer weaving about, I no longer assume drunk driver.

Not that it makes me angry, because I couldn't really give a toss, but why is it that so many people have taken to mounting their satnav right in the middle of their windscreen? Just below the RVM? Surely it obscures their view?

Yes... why? Often on daylight brightness at night, too... Mine is mounted in the lowest right hand corner of my windscreen, and, at night in particular, is on low brightness and usually titlted down so the screen is not shining light into the car (and, like so many driving things, if I do it that way, it MUST be the right way - although in this case I think it is...). Instrument lights turned down, too - I hate cars which don't have variable instrument lighting (even if on the GTA, it goes from "dim", to "nearly-off").

I was approaching Hyde Park Corner the other day and saw a female driving erratically behind me. As I was about to stop at a red I was worried about being rear-ended or whatever. Thankfully she looked up from he book in time (!). I was incredulous and thought she must have been reading her A-Z (still stupid but less moronic). But no it was a novel. She read a bit whilst waiting on red. Then set off holding the book and wheel (and steering into a four lane junction) with one hand, changing gear with the other.......

Because they are left handed!

i hate the idiots that are far more interested in staring at you through their rear view mirror to look at the road ahead! im doing the two second rule bh so get over it!

Because the lead isnt long enough to get to the cigarette lighter if it's on the right.

Sitting in heavy traffic in Paris on the Peripherique once, bloke goes past filtering through at speed on his scooter, helmet resting on the top of his head while he's gurning away having a shave. Vive la baguette.

i disagree my partner had one of these in her car which i drove from time to time, i consider myself reasonable courteous and never hold up traffic etc however when people see these they seem to think its their right to act likely children themselves! the amount of people i see swerving to get round me or tail-gateing etc when we we were in traffic was ridiculous

i think its peoples prejudice against these signs that makes themselves get overly aggressive on the road compared with cars that dont have them

Edit: the thing that annoys me most is people using their fog lights when there's the slightest bit of fog/rain, fronts dont bother me so much the the rear fog is just dazzling. As long as you have you lights on 99.99999% of the time that will be sufficient

Bloke in an Audi A4.

Joining the motorway.
Easting a sandwich.
Drinking a drink.
Steering with his knees.
Having an animated conversation which involved waving his arms around and spilling sandwich and drink.
With a fag hanging out of one side of his mouth.
Changing lanes without warning
Varying between 110 and 50mph

Terrifying.

Oh, it was in Italy and he seemed to be Italian, so it was pretty average for Italy.

Because the power lead doesn't allow them to put the satnav elsewhere probably. My satnav adjusts the brightness for day/night automatically.

It doesn't obscure my view at all, though I need to find a solution for my rear view mirror which does obscure my view badly. I am 6'5 though.
