Hey guys!

Just a pointless thread to introduce myself and all that jazz.

I've been on PH for a while, but haven't posted much. But that will change now hopefully cool
Yesterday morning I passed my driving test, first time so was chuffed to bits with that, so was out all last night in my car. Having a giggle and finding out how quickly petrol is used. eek

Anyways, my name is Ross, im 17, 18 in December and stay just outside sunny Glasgow. I drive a 1.4 Toyota Corrola and plan on not writing it off wink

So yeah hello PH & the roads!

Congrats, I wish i could go back to that feeling i got when i passed my test (3 and a half years ago redface). I didn't even get the same feeling when i graduated from uni earlier in the year..... Probbably wont when i have a kid either wink.

Take care on the roads.

Just remember, putting tea trays under your back wheels actually turns you into a rally driver. FACT.

hehe

Congrats, and take it easy. I had quite a few near misses when I was 17!

Well done, the plan for not writing it off sounds good smile Any pics of the car? I was quite interested in a Corrola 1.4 to replace my Corsa last year, the cheap insurance and decent power seemed like a wise choice!

Oh and its company policy to display this image smile

Its a resale silver wink

I'll get some pics of the car once i find a way to get rid of the sticker residue left by the L plates, any ideas, i went through 3 sets of magnetic ones because they kept flying off when i went over 40, so had to get stick on ones, which have left the nasty marks, any tips on how to remove them?

It genuinely does make you a rally driver, I had a friend who did it and told me that it's way better than skidz. That's how he got his girlfriend and she always puts out so yeah it's well cool.

WD40 may work.
But it will remove the polish as well...

Make sure you wipe it off thoroughly afterwards as otherwise it dries and glosses over and is an arse in itself to get off! biggrin
