Exactly. We whinge at the American/Canadian tastes but what fills out road? Drossy diesel hatchbacks. At lease crap American cars have proper engines.

Check out some of the reivews of the lattest Caddy agains the M5. The last one I read they declared the Caddy more fun to drive, it was also quicker against the clock, more economical and substantially cheaper to buy.

Well, at least it's not a bland VAG eurobox.

Probably one of the few new cars with a bit of character.

Actually to be fair my dad has the previous shape Caddillac STS and they are a really really nice car, and the new one is much improved.

They used it on the matrix too!!

Looks like the illegitimate offspring of a sports car and a box truck, with a hint of transformer! hehe

Not Angry at all, In fact for Canada, I agree thumbup

Fair point, but a Merc convertible came second...

(and I did laugh at the bit where the testers were required to have race licences.)

yes

Exactly. What's the problem?

Looks like a monstrously powerful RWD sports saloon for not a huge amount more than a well specced diesel german minicab.

As so-called driving enthusiasts, why do we have such an issue with these cars? Do we really need the tactile rubber surface finishes in the interior, and the "imagine" to make a worthy sports saloon?
