I have £3.5k to spend on a daily driver. I would quite like something fun and different but it needs to be bullet proof and not too thirsty (this is flexible).
I would appreciate both newer and older suggestions.
Thanks
lots of options at this money.I would appreciate both newer and older suggestions.
Thanks
Although as a rule more specialised cars might well like a but more tlc.
What sort if mpg or distance per month are you needing/doing?
Also when you say bulletproof. What do you mean? No car is infallible, let alone a £3k performance or classic.

"The start motor has been playing up as of late when I bought the truck it wasn't working at all I got a mechanic to look at it and he got it working but lately its been playing up so think it might need a new one. It hasn't got an MOT or tax so will need to be trailered to its new home."£3,000 with no tax or test and a dodgy starter, not to mention the rust in the sill.

Maybe bulletproof isn't the right word. I just want something that isn't likely to go bang. There will be repair bills with any car but I dont fancy bills in the thousands or regular bills.

It is uber cool but I think it may be a little thirsty and need a bit of money spent on it.BelperJim said:
Good shout but not my cup of tea. A bit boy racerish for my liking.I'm biased, but this should fit the bill: http://www.uksaabs.co.uk/UKS/viewtopic.php?p=61819...
230bhp, 6.5s to sixty, 30mpg, and will comfortably hold five people, their luggage, and the kitchen sink.
