I don't have any oil monitoring gauges on my Forester. I have seen these sandwich plates that sit between engine and the filter that sensors can be plugged into. Are these any good?

They work perfectly well, I have them on my competition cars. Dont buy the mocal ones though they are crap! buy the cheap ones off ebay that are made from billet (usually anodised a funky colour), just check for loose flashings inside before fitting though.

The oil never got anywhere near the sender.

Where on earth did fit it???? They fit between the oil filter & the block, it HAS to pass by them. Its not rocket science



So where on earth did you fit yours so it did'nt get any oil scratchchin

Used one myself for oil temp and pressure.
