Using regular unleaded during Winter

does anyone else use the cheaper stuff in cold weather? It seems to be getting harder to find a pump that delivers 98+, and i don't notice any adverse affects even though both my cars run better with 98 in warmer weather. Oh, and it saves a few pennies not that i'm tight or anything like that ..
