which headlight bulbs?

before i get abused. i tried searching and as per usuall forum search functions i got hee haw.

so one of my headlights bulbs just gave way yesterday so i need a new set. and was wondering everyones recomendations.

so far most common ive came across are

phillips xtreme vision and osram nightbreakers.

osram nightbreakers being cheaper

I think they are both about the same output wise, the Nightbreakers are cheaper, but dont last as long

I've got Nightbreakers, had them about a year. Good improvement over standard, for little outlay.

The Phillips or Osram are about the best on the market.

I'm running Halfrauds 100%+ bulbs just now which were about £17-£20 for the pair.

Would have got Phillips online but it was 7pm on a winter's Thursday, I had a 120 mile trip to make and the driver's side dip was out, Halfrauds was open til 8pm, which was convenient. Their offer of fitting the bulbs for £11.98 was declined, although I did have to dismantle half the car to fit them
