Hi all,

I am currently debating to try car leasing. Has anyone on here done this before? (I'm guessing quite a few of you have)If you have, could share some tips as to what to look out for and who I should and shouldn't be dealing with, also any recommended websites would be welcomed.

As for the car, I am not sure what I want really so any suggestions will also be welcomed. I have around 200-250 a month to spend, however my preference is hatchbacks and coupes. I am not to fussy regarding power, but I would like something a bit more powerful than a 1.2 if my money allows.

Thanks

How many miles do you plan on doing as this can impact on the cost a fair bit and it will help people advise you what options might work for you.

250 is a reasonable budget if you dont want something too out there and there are some good deals out there if you look carefully.

Mileage will probably be quite low as it will hardly get driven during the week, I cant see me doing more than 10,000 a year.

Don't forget to factor in the VAT rise in January which will add to your payments. You may want to look at a PCP deal instead as you have more flexibility if you want to settle the contract or change car before the contract end.
