Double sided tape.

I've got a foot mat on the driver's side of my car which has lost it's fixings. The fixings which have become detached are on the carpet side rather than the mat side and at the moment I can't be arsed getting the required fixings from the dealer and then lifting half of the carpets in my car. So, to stop it moving around (albeit temporarily) I'm going to use some double sided tape. Anyone know of where I can get some decent, thick strong stuff or an alternative?
