Good PH'ers I have had for a while on the Saab a slow puncture, it is loosing circa 10psi per day and I am getting mildly pee'd off with the compressor routine every morning!

To date I have had new tyres, and had the alloys refurb'd and still no joy. They are old and I am guessing possibly this one is shot somewhere. So do I have any alternatives to buying a new alloy or a set of?

Thanks.

Goop seals as you pucture, or also good for slow leaks.

I used it on a very slow leak due to sealing problem with old alloy wheel and the tyre and it did the job.
A word of warning must be given to tyre fitter if changing to new tyres so he doesn't get a face full of the stuff.

10 psi is too much to be a slow puncture. Get them to put it in the waterbath and see if its coming from the rim, they can buff the inside of the rim with a drill/grinder before putting sealer on and refitting the tyre.

DO NOT put tubes in a 'tubeless' tyre on a modern tyre/alloy!

This used to work in years gone by but it doesnt work anymore, last time I tried this with a modern alloy/tyre it resulted in a blow out on the M25.
