... said the overhead "active" road sign on the M6 (near the M1 end) this morning.
All this did was reinforce my desire to get a job where I'd be responsible for providing the text to these signs. Oh the fun I could have.
Anyone seen any funny or wierd ones? If not, what would you like to paste up there? Bonus points for "funny". Points dedicted for "keep left" or "get out of the middle lane". Too obvious.

Apparently they're real. I think I heard the story behind it was that they're temporary standalone items for roadworks with a keyboard on the base for entering messages, and someone 'discovered' the manufacturer's default password

I **so** wish I could remember some of the ones we saw over the motorway network around Glasgow one year, or better still, some of the ones we made up in response. Sparked by their anodyne nonesense our sense of humour was positively on fire.
