Don't knock it, I fitted one of these, 3 eBay resistors, one of those magnetic fuel line thingies and my car actually makes petrol now.

Worryingly, Apparently so!

There was a woman on Calendar News last night who had been sending off "admin fees" for these prize winning letters, she said at it's worst point she was sending £4000/month to these things and she never won a penny! bangheadrolleyessmash

Anyway, must go, I have to make some exhaust fume re circulator pipes to pump the exhaust back into the air intake, oh and send another thousand "You Have Won" letters out.....

Surely these things need to be made far more dangerous, hopefully fatal. Thus the mouth breathers who buy them will slowly but surely weed themselves out of the genetic pool.

I know a bloke who has apparently halved his fuel consumption after fitting what appears to be a hydrogen production device. Using electricity from the car battery, water is split into Hydrogen and oxygen and used as fuel for the engine.

The best part, it only uses 200ml of water for every 3 tanks of regular fuel laugh

AS there is no science claim on the packaging as to why it works, it is our job as PH'ers to help them out by devising one.

"as it looks like a dildo sticking out of the dash, it gets you all excited and makes you drive faster in order to get back to your doris in order to try it on, hence making your car faster, ergo 30% increase in performance"

Blows your electrics so the car doesn't run, thus improving economy by forcing you to get the vehicle recovered! Obviously your car doesn't use ANY fuel when its on the back of a recovery truck!

You have a car with no EGR valve?

You are lucky! biggrin

What a brilliant idea. Of course it's just an led on a stick, but some people will buy it and make the inventor some money. Even on the comments where people are talking about what a scam it is, there is a person who says that as it's so cheap she might as well give it a go.
One of the comments said something along the lines of you stick it up your rear end which means you can't push the accelerator down so hard..biggrin

An interesting concept that, by placing additional load on the 12v supply, you will somehow REDUCE the loading on the alternator.

Must be quite some piece of kit!
