Sorry, couldn't resist but to share. Must be winter as it's 2pm and the car on the driveway hasn't even given a hint of starting to thaw the ice off.......and it's supposed to snow tomorrow!

I drove to work this morning, and ice was already appearing on my windscreen at lunch. Had to get the de-icer out again.

The Chilterns has it's own micro-climate - so I've been told by the locals. Not sure whether that's BS or not but apparently it's to do with "the valley"??

Could be worse - an RN pilot I know posted on his Facebook page this morning 'stuck in a field with an iced up helo - detrmined not to spend the weekend here'.

You're not a million miles away - never been to The Lee but been past the sign post many times - supposed to be lovely up there.

Which pub ot you run? Do you know the Plough at Cadsden?

Driving to work this morning at about 8-9 and the inside of my car was freezing up, ended up having to use de-icer on the inside of my windscreen :S

yep, just don't park in their car park or the attendant will tell you off!
