I've seen several nice ones in the 4k (my budget) bracket....
However i'm stuck..they seem to be too new to get insured on a classic policy. I've got 5 years NCB but it is on my daily...so i'm looking to spent 4k on a toy which i can insure on a classic policy...
Damn damn and damn
I'm 25 with 7 years clean driving history but the quick net quotes ive done are all over 1300k....which for a "toy" is too much...bearing in mind i can insure a 944 S2 fully comp for 230 quid

I can imagine a 4k XKR is about 10 miles from a 4k repair bill, no?
Itll be cheap for a reason.
However if it were in good shape that would be a humongous bargain.
Not talking XKR's, just XK's, and early ones...but as i said (the example being a case in point) there are good and unabused ones out there for around 4-5k.Itll be cheap for a reason.
