PH Exclusive: Jaguar C-X75 Presentation

Meet the show-stopping concept and the team behind it in this fabulous PH prize

Join PH, the stunning C-X75 concept, and key Jaguar team members at our exclusive soiree!
Join PH, the stunning C-X75 concept, and key Jaguar team members at our exclusive soiree!
Flattery will get you everywhere, they say, but it won't get you into the exclusive presentation of the jet-propelled Jaguar C-X75 concept we've cooked up for a band of 30 PH prize-winners at the Berkeley Hotel on December 16th.

Nope, in the grand tradition of PH freebies, all you need is a whiff of good fortune and the wit to send an email with your name and a few relevant details to competitions@pistonheads.com, with the letters C-X75 writ large in the subject line of your electronic communication.

If you've got a 7pm-9pm sized window in your calendar for December 16th, and can get to London's West End under your own steam, here's why you don't want to miss it.

Following weeks of ferocious sucking-up by the team here at PH HQ, Jaguar has very kindly agreed to invite 30 of our readers to an exclusive champagne reception at the Berkeley Hotel, where the C-X75 is due to take pride of place for a week in the window previously reserved for the new XJ saloon.

At this private PistonHeads event, our lucky competition winners are likely to be plied with champagne and canapés at Jaguar's expense, but that's not really why you want to be there. (If you're anything like us, you'll be used to quaffing champagne for breakfast, lunch and dinner after all.)

No, you want to be there for an amazing (and almost unheard of) opportunity to get up close and personal to the stunning Jaguar concept that has already wowed the Paris and LA motor shows, and will soon be wowing crowds elsewhere, assuming we don't leave too many sticky finger prints on it...

As well as the concept itself, Jaguar is also making available some of the key team members behind the project, who as well as presenting on their areas of expertise will be available for general mingling and petrolhead chit-chat.

C-X75 team members lined up for a starring role include:
Hugo Nightingale, Senior Designer, Jaguar Advanced Design.
Matthew Beavan, Exterior Design Manager.
Stephen Nicholls, Advanced Propulsion Systems Manager.
Phillip Lelliott, MD Bladon Jets.

To be in with a chance of winning a place at this fabulous soiree, get your emails in now. We need to know:

1) Your name
2) Your age (Over 21s only please)
3) The car you drive
4) Your mobile phone number/daytime contact number

Entries must be received by mid-day on December 6th, when our 30 winners will be tugged from our (virtual) Jaguar 75th Anniversary souvenir baseball cap - and they'll be notified that same day.

PH T&Cs. The event will begin at 7pm on Thursday December 16th at the Berkeley Hotel in London, and our guests will be wholly responsible for getting themselves to and from the startline on time, and at their own cost.
Guests must also agree to any directions/stipulations/house rules required by our hosts Jaguar on the day with no whingeing.
No substitute dates or opportunities will be offered to ingrates who decide they can't make it on the night.
Winners must be over 21 to comply with PH's responsible drinking policy. (Ahem... Ed.)

Whether or not the gas turbine/battery/electric motor propulsion turns out to be practical/feasible, they really should go all out to put this most attractive and desirable car in to production in the interim with a conventional mid engine power train. At a sensible competitive price it would surely be a massive sales hit.

fantastic looking car, except for the bonnet scoop which I think could do with being a little more sculptured. I doubt they will ever build anything that looks remotely like it though.

type Dr PH,

If I do not win, I reserve the right to come along and lick the windows of the showroom.

None of us want this.

Yours,

Foolish of the West End.
