Does anyone know of any good scrap yards in Herefordshire or Gloucestershire - preferably the good old fashioned sort where you just walk in and gather what you need.

Need a set of 16" wheels to fit a Focus ST170 for the winter tyres.

I used P&T Moore near Leominster some years ago when I needed something obscure.

I don't know if they're still there, but their website is still live, so they're probably worth a phonecall.

I think most scrapyards remove the wheels prior to placing the cars in the yard. I know they dock you about £2.50 per wheel if you leave it on the car when you weigh it in (rubber disposal) even if they are alloys. Our Banbury and Bicester scrappys do this but usually have a stock of wheels at the entrance to the yard.
