Anyone notice the lack of....
Discussion
The weather here (South East) isn't too bad at all so I suppose I wouldn't have noticed a lack of RWD on the road. However I can't say I've ever really noticed a lack of BMW/Mercedes and the other RWD marques on the road in the snow previously - I'd imagine that most of the owners of these cars don't really factor the RWD into how the car behaves in the snow and so don't worry about it.

I don't actually see 3 series BMW's any more because they're so common, my eyes are too bored to render the image for me. I just see a non-descript shape
Same here, they just blend into the background. It's amazing how the eye picks up so quickly a new car on the road though, had non-car friends tell me it happens to them too. Have been out and about in Soho and the West End tonight and the roads have been empty. There were a few Bentley's and a couple of S Class cars but the Lexus and BMW's have all gone into hiding or already have on theor full winter tyres, which are popular with airport chauffeur companies and the suchlike.
Few black cabs too!!! Had to catch the tube back to Marble Arch....yuk!
