My wife has been using our old Toyota Corolla to go to school in for the last few weeks instead of her Audi TT. One of the things she has moaned about is the fact she is missing her heated seats.

A couple of weeks ago I bought one of those heated seat covers off Ebay for £12 and put it on the seat. She was pleased, but as I have been using the car I have seen the benefit of it also... Its toasty warm withing a couple of mins, long before the heater, and does make a big difference on cold mornings.

I mentioned this to my mate and he bought one for his old Peugeot which has leather. He suffers from a bad back and he says its the best thing he has ever bought! no more sitting on a cold leather seat first thing of a morning, plus the heat improves his back problem!

here you go... not the best looking thing in the world... But with a 12 year old Corolla, image is not to much of a concern!

Stupidly I was thinking oooooh that sounds like a great idea, I'll order one of them. Both my cars have heated seats anyway. A fool and his money and all that...

Good xmas gift idea though.

Looks good, on your recommendation I have bought one too, the heater in the Alfa is crap, despite changing the thermostat.
