A mate of mine has tried everything, his Windows are almost constantly steamed up, even the blowers just about keep it at bay, heard its a common problem on this car?

Tell him to turn the recirculaton off on the heating system. This will let fresh air in from outside and eventually it will dry out.

I guess so, it never seems to clear around the upper part of the windscreen, all the blower work. Never seen it quite so bad in any other car.

Perhaps he is getting an ingress of moisture into the car? If he is trudging a load of snow etc on his shoes, this won't help.

I'm not familiar with the Civic, but i've heard that in other cars drainage channels can become clogged, hence the moisture not escaping from the cabin.

Are the windows properly clean? Give the interior a damn good clean out, keep the zircon switched on, possibly invest in a giant bag of silica gel.

I would definitely echo the comment about cleaning the windows inside. Use window cleaner (Megs, Windowlene etc) and it should be fine.

Take any mats out and dry them indoors
