Is this guy genuinely this illiterate or is he a marketing genius?

If the latter is true one would like to think there really is some hope for this country. He did, afterall, manage to get over 1700 hits on his Ebay advertisement for a pretty undesirable car. I'm guessing a lot of those hits were from people like me who came to wonder in awe at his spelling! Nevertheless, he thus gained wide exposure for his sale.

Sadly, I fear the former option may be the case as the car failed to sell and bidding petered out at a mere £310. I'm therefore left feeling that there probably isn't any hope left.

I guess he's genuine. Certainly there are plenty of people who aren't particularly good spellers or use English as their first language but this is something else. Would you not get someone else to write it for you?

I must admit I was just beginning to feel a slight twinge of guilt...especially when I read one of his other listings...and was wondering:

"How on earth does one gets by in the Age of Communication when one spells "small" as "smorl" ?"(yikes):

But then I read another listing and he seems perfectly capable...one might even say eloquent!

I don't think he's dyslexic. I now think he's a genius! If I had a business I'd want him on my marketing team! biggrin

I WORKED IN A JOB CENTRE AND THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO SIGNED LATE WITH WRITTEN STATEMENT, IFORT IT WAS ANOTHER DAY OR I FOUGHT IT WAS. Was incredible, found out most schools don't correct spelling mistakes anymore content is more important been, like it for years now. I think they should claim COM-PAIN-SAY-SHUN.

Easy some of the poor sods did'nt have parents who cared, also some are happy to stay in their tiny environment, laughing at, and calling anyone who tries to do things properly, mugs, snobs, or up 'em' 'selfs'.
