Scrappage scheme?

I know the scrappage scheme is over (ages ago) but I remember some dealers still offering discounts to match.

Anyone know if any companies are still doing this? Would it be done by each brand (i.e Skoda) or is it down to dealerships?

Also was it only on new cars or nearly new as well?

I'm certain it was new cars only. Kia are doing something just now called the 7 year switch. Basically if you have a 7-10 year old car they guarantee a trade in of £2500 against a new Kia.

SKODA were doing something similar. Seemed to have started in March 2010 but no mention of it on their site or anything to say its finished

Vauxhall are still doing a swappage scheme afaik.
