... From your rear windscreen?

I've failed to use my eyes and the rear screen demister lines correctly and have misaligned a sticker on my rear windscreen. furious

How can I get it off so I can try again with a fresh sticker?

Stanley blade - that's what I used you can also warm it up and use a plastic scraper if you think the Stanley blade might scratch the glass. Then clean the window and use some decent pumice based glass polish to get rid of the residue before applying the new sticker.

This is going to sound daft, warm the sticker, as it is on glass I would use a hairdryer, after peeling it off, spread some peanut butter on any glue left, leave overnight and then just wipe it, glue will come off.

Warm it with a hair dryer...it'll peel off easily.

Autoglym intensive tar remove is excellent at removing left any behind sticky residue.

WD40 also helps to get rid of glue left behind, it leaves a bit of an oily residue itself though.

Blade works well, but it's best to blunt the points first.

But not a great idea for an internal sticker placed on top of the demist lines

Hairdryer and your thumb nail; anything harder or sharper could knack the heated wires.

Then brake cleaner on a rag to get any glue off.

Good point! This is on the outside though so no problems.

Think I'll use a plastic scraper anyway smile

if you cant get a hair dryer close to the car just use hot water from the kettle I have used that method to remove stickers off the racing cars and smart cars; hot water makes a huge difference to the glue hence it comes off easily. If you pour hot water on the glass at the same time as peeling the sticker it will come straight off.

Boiling water over glass and dripping onto bodywork outside in this weather a bit risky though perhaps?
