DVLA private plates - nominee question...

Planning to buy a private plate for my little 'un for when he eventually becomes a driver/car owner in years to come. Can his name be put down as the 'nominee' or does it have to be an adult / current driver?

You could put Mickey Mouse on there.

So does not have to be anyone already 'registered' with DVLA

Just leave it as it is and put the nominee name on nearer the date you are giving it to him. First thing you need to do is buy it.
