Screenwash in radiator!

MrsTwo's colleague has put screenwash (soapy water + antifreeze) in the radiator by accident. I assume the cooling system will need flushing but can the car be driven a short distance without causing any harm?

Not a problem, the coolant is a far harsher chemical than a drop of screenwash anyway.

Have you ever tried putting detergent into boiling water? the result is a nightclub-esque volume of foam.

I'd not want to risk that.

fair point...screen wash shouldnt froth too bad , or was it washing up liquid?

I doubt it would foam up like that unless she had put concentrated fairy liquid in there.

So basically, if it doesn't start foaming everywhere it should be ok?
