To be fair, most of the cars featured looked pretty hideous before he laid a finger on them.

The write up for each car reads as if it was written by a child

"I SUPPLIED Bacs with a TDV8 Sport left- hand drive in black and put on a Kahn body kit and wheels.

A few months later I wrapped it white with white wheels. Inside it has a DVD player, TVs in each headrest, an iPod dock and a top sound system.

At the weekend I play Nintendo and have pizza and ice cream and raisons and hundreds and thousands. Last summer we went camping we went rock climing and canooing and I got a hole in my shoe. My mummy says I can be an astronaut if I work hard at school."

I think he's had it for quite a while. There was an article on Auto Trader at least a year ago about Man Utd player's cars. He was only just coming up through the ranks at the time so I imagine he has more than enough money to buy something more exotic now!

Man Utd players are encouraged to drive Audis as

a) They're a club sponsor
b) Fergie prefers them not to turn up in Gallardos/Bentleys/etc as they are ostentatious (although many do)

Wellbeck will be on decent-ish wedge but won't be on thousands per week at the moment, having only had a handful of 1st team appearances and being out on loan.

True about the Audi sponsorship.

Although I imagine he will be on a fair wedge. He had a fair few 1st team outings. I know of an 18 year old 1st teamer who plays for Blackburn, only broke into the 1st team last season and he's on in excess of £8k per week.

It's in the Sun.

It needs to be understood by someone with the reading age of one.

I'd like to see a list of footballers and their cars where they have NOT chavved it up. i.e. where are the footballers with discreet taste, maybe some classics or more understated metal etc. They don't get the reactive headlines though I guess.

It's their money they can spend it however they like, unless of course they put a "powered by fairy dust" sticker on. That's not personal taste its just st.

Jurgen Klinsman used to drive a battered old blue Beetle when he was at Spurs - said he drove it because he didn't get any attention.
