Every now & then I like to see what's on ebay USA, and I just found this. If I was going to go on a US road trip, this is the sort of thing I'd buy blind, fly in, and drive away.

Love that!! For all the wrong reasons and I agree, it would be fantastic fun to buy it blind, turn up and just drive.

i am a huge fan of US ebay motors, though i tend to look how cheap i can get an early porsche 911 or 356, or how i could get a mint model T for under £12k.

Friend and I have talked about doing exactly that, driving along route 66. 6.6l V8 but the speedo only reads to 110mph...those wacky Americans and their pitifully low bhp/litre engines (especially in 1970's smog strangled trim)
