.....back in the day I used to just buy a copy of Autotrader purely just to look through with no intention of buying.. now with the internet there are thousands of sites you can, and probably do, spend hours just looking through the classifieds.. so what are your favourite sites?

(This will also help me as I am currently looking for a new car sub £2k and haven't found a great deal on PH, Autotrader, Fleabay or Cars and Classic that is exciting me so I'm hoping you come up with some gems!)

If you know there's a particular car you want then its always a good idea to go onto any owners clubs of the car and check their for sale section. Usually you find quite good gems which have been very well looked after, although you sometimes have to sign up to the forum in order to view the section.

Ebay. It has the coverage. Owner's clubs, as noted above, and dare I say it PH classifieds, are an expensive place to buy from.

Hence I am a registered user on loads of sites for cars I''ve never owned laugh
A couple of years back I used to read a Ford Probe forum all the time, even though I never ended up buying one, I knew quite a lot about them!
