458 - music from iPod?

Hi. With a 458 Italia how do you get the music from an iPod onto the hard disk inside the car? There is a cable in the glove box but when you plug the iPod in nothing happens? Thanks for any help.

Have you got a manual for the car?

iPods are designed so that you cannot copy music off them. You might need to plug in your pc to copy music to the car's HDD.

With the Red Bull RB6, they have an IPod docking device, integrated into the magazine for Red Bull cans,which is there in case the driver needs to remonstrate with other drivers.

To show that they think of everything, this is swappable for side depending on the drivers dominant hand.

Op i just googled the problem as its something most 458 owners seem to be having difficulty with, all you need to do is connect the thingymabob to the whatsyamacallit that should sort out the doohicky!
