Could be SORN'd couldn't it? It would aid the value of it a little bit as, although it will still depreciate whilst you're away, it won't have any useage wear and tear and the miles will be 11 months less than average, so should hold value a little longer, plus it's there waiting for you when you get back!

Either way, look after yourself when you're out there, got a lot of respect for people that stick their necks out like you - not many people have balls like that.
