Help please? Challence from my boss
Discussion
He wants me to find him a 4x4 , not obscenely old and with a not rediculous number of miles on it for max £2,200.
Ive looked through the classifieds on here and am thinking that an old impreza is quite good for the money.
There are no conditions on type of vehicle.
Im sure someone on here can find the perfect candidate!
Thankyou
EDIT - WOW, Spelling mistake in the title! Shocking, but I can't change it!

Impreza no.
Look at a Legacy estate or a Forester. £2,200 will get you a perfectly serviceable example.
Failing that, a Discovery 200/300 TDI
Failing that, take your pick from large Jap 4x4's. An Isuzu or Shogun would probably be a decent starting point.
Aside from picking the worst time of year for choice... who would be selling one after the snow last week that isn't a complete dog. You might get lucky...
A bit over, Subaru Forester. Ace vehicles:

Disco v8 with LPG:

Or a go anywhere Jeep:

What does he *actually need*? Better snow performance for this winter? Part used ebay winter tyres would probably do. Or Tyre Socks for short journeys.
