The "What Tyre" thread...
Discussion
Hi all...
Right, finally had enough of the Mid range things i stuck on the front of my Volvo S60T5 4 months ago (after a month with the lads depleted my funds and judgement) and to be honest they are not that bad in the dry; but seeing as it is bloody wet at the moment i'm looking at putting some decent tyres on her. 250bhp, 1 and a half tons and FWD on mid-range can lead to some "should i, shouldn't I?" moments when pulling into gaps...
so, I have a few questions?
What tyre would you recommend. Have heard nothing but good things about Vredsteins but they seem to hard to come by?
Can I get away with putting the mid-rangers on the rear and putting the good ones on the front (only done 2500 miles)?
cheers

I'd personally be looking at something like the Sport Contact 3 thanks to all the magazine tests it's won.
