let me set the scene....

You're 21, and you're spending that much on a car? Do you already own a house, or have some other good form of investment income? If not I'd spend maybe £10k of it on car + insurance, and put the rest of the money to work - you have an opportunity to establish yourself as a very wealthy person from a starting point like that.
It is a troll.

Anyone notice the lack of beemers and general rwd cars about today? I was out in mine (328) but everyone was looking at me like i was mad. I even made it up a bank
. had the car since i was 19 so just over two years now just cant help but use it.
Do us a favour and hang about on a street corner or at the park. Leave PH to those who a) want to talk cars and b) are old enough to drive them.

so your 21 you come in to some money lets say about £120000 decide so buy your first fast car... gallardo. Who will insure it? been trying to find insurance all morning but no one will touch me not even for the stupid 10k mark.
My advice is: don't.Buy something fun but insurable; maybe even a classic. Plenty of fun to be had in lots of other cars.
Have epic number of track days and professional coaching with an instructor.
Buy a track beast. Or compete in a series (MX5, Caterham Academy) for fun and kudos of being a genuine race driver instead of a ponce in an uninsurable lambo that you will crash... AND still have 80k left towards a house.

It must be possible, as there are many footballists of that age driving similar metal.
I remember reading somewhere that one of the footballers was paying around £22k to insure his Ferrari that he had at the time.It cost me a week's wages to insure my Elise (but I am a bit older).
