Merc parts prices?

My grandad's just had a small ice related incident in his CLK230 (W208) which has resulted in the front bumper, headlight (drivers) and wing being ruined and damage to the bonnet.

The last time I got any parts for a Merc I couldn't get pattern parts and Merc prices were ridiculous.

Just wondering if its still the case?

Thinking that he will have to go through insurance. Maybe even be written off idbthe parts are expensive (shouldn't think these w208's are worth much these days)
