Is this Audi R8 Hideous?

Car belongs to Baseball Player Brandon Phillips, came across it looking for good shots of the Audi R8, the article read "Cincinnati Reds 2nd Baseman Brandon Phillips was arrested last month for "reckless driving" with his mom in the car. This is the hideous purple Audi R8 V10 he was arrested in."

Now is it me, or is it a very nice Audi R8 with bad wheels? In fact one of the nicest looking R8's iv ever seen, but still with bad wheels. I dont know whether my taste has gone missing today or not? I think it would look lovely on Gloss Black R8 V10 wheels!

If it had black wheels, it would look amazing. However, those purple wheels are just tasteless and ruin the whole car. However, it's only a new set of wheels away from being a great looking R8.

It's an R8, so yes of course it's hideous. I've yet to see a colour that can adequately disguise its goppy mouth and saggy arse.

I love the colour, and it goes well with black for the "sideblades", and also would have gone well with black wheels!!! I'm the same as everyone else - it's fine, but the wheels just ruin it.

Can't get to like the R8 at all..

Don't know why, just looks odd and ungainly. Anyway it was tanned on Top Gear by a ZR1 Corvette which is the coup-de-grace for it.


Black wheels rock, btw.. checkout those carbon finished ones on Loti ....and mine of course!

From what i can see it looks very nice.Wheels are a bit on the 'blingy' side but ok.
