renault laguna heater resistors
Discussion
hi guys
i have a 2000 (X)renault laguna 1.8 azire. The other day the heater stopped working only works on no4 i think this is a live feed from the battery.Problem is at the same time the lighting around the heater dials stopped working .Does this usually happen on the laguna when the resistors go.I'm not working at the moment so dont really want to £45 for the resistors if somthing else has stopped it working ie fues or relays.Any help and advise would be gratefully recived
regards john

I don't know specifically about the Laguna, but the thermal fuse on the resistor pack could be your fan problem.
Mine went the other week, I did some research and came up with this:

I saw that Maplins sold the thermal fuses, but as it started working again, I didn't bother attempting a repair.
