Give me five minutes and I shall be enjoying a frosty chocolate milkshake dans le jardin.

No wireless lap top though.

What sort of laptop have you got? I can't see the screen on mine in outdoor light.. keep having to nip back to the dining room to post..

That's the downside. You have to sit in the shade.

Just come in from wrestling with the trifids in our garden to grab an afternoon beer and say Hi

Anyone fancy doing some gardening for me...no?...daft question really wasn't it?

On this point does anyone think a handy little business could be built out of "House Service" think hotel room service (food, beer, ciggys etc.), ring a number from your home and have them delivered to your door?

BTW Ted: 3 Cans left here, shall I e-mail one over?

With the screen brightness turned full up while I sit in the sun wearing dark glasses, it's just about possible to surf outside in my garden, but it canes the battery. It's a small price to pay for enjoying a sunny day, though!

I'd rather be driving somewhere, but the roads around SE London on a day like this are too busy for enjoyment. I'll wait till everybody else has gone to work - one of the pleasures of retirement!

I need a Wireless laptop, my backgarden gets the sun from 9.15am to 11pm (times taken in June, seasonal variation applies ) and I have 2 cases of stella chilling nicely in the fridge. I have decided to watch tomorrow's GP

I've always found it very difficult to drink beer in the middle of the day without falling asleep, especially when it's as sunny as this.

The only time I ever seem to get away with it is when on holiday abroad... Weird.

At the moment I'm drinking Pepsi Max... Eurgh. Nasty, but it's cold so it'll do.
