Advice on tyres :banghead:

I drive a CC Cyclone and my rear tyres are on their way out. Can anybody advise on their preferred tyres?
I fitted Falken 502 when I built the car. They are okay, but not fantastic in the dry and interesting in the wet. However they gave me a lot of confidence as they gave plenty of warning before breakaway. Also when they did let go they did so quite progressively.
I am looking for tyres that will give better grip in both wet and dry conditions. As this car is used daily with the occasional track days thrown in for good measure.
All comments are welcome.
PS:
CC Cyclone - Mid Engine weighs approx. 700kg. Powered by Vauxhall producing about 120ish BHP.
