He doesn't actually know it yet. He had to go to bed at 8pm, it's a school night.

So that'll be two teenage Russians on the grid next year then. I get the feeling Kyvat will go the same way as Alguesuari being put in the car that daly in his career.

To quote Taki Inoue

Dr. Helmut Marko is too old to remember all Red Bullst junior drivers. For sure, he confused Kvyat with Felix Da Costa!!

Gutted for Da Costa, but if it's a close call then the Russian market is more attractive for Red Bull. Hope Da Costa can still carry on with his career at a top level.

I thought it'd be sainz jr personally. Has this guy even driven f1 yet? And I don't mean in a simulator...or on his play station...

I overheard a guy in the pub the other day saying that Sainz isn't rated by some insiders at Red Bull.

My own view of him is that his dad is connected (esp to Repsol) and that brings a bag of cash....if he can't make it inside the Red Bull environment, we could see him get a drive with another team in a couple of years' time.

Daniil Kvyat is without doubt the grumpiest looking driver i've even seen - basically seems he's doing a "Kevin"
