I was there yesterday for the Six Hours of Bahrain WEC race.

The circuit has done a good job with the lighting and the track looked nicely lit for all the parts I could see. I'm not sure how it will affect things on TV but I love physically being at night races (the racing itself and also the ancillary things such as the pits) and I'm sure the F1 will suit a night race there. It will be a bit cooler too, which is always good.

Am I the only one who hates night races? They just lack any visual interest, grey track, grey barriers & fencing & black background.

There isn't anything to look at in Bahrain apart from sand though. wink

I hate them too, but agree that these sort of tracks are very bland, sometimes whilst watching I think I am watching a race game on tv.

Could be spectacular under the flashes of gunfire and rockets.

And the lights were only at 50% Power for the WEC event.
