Why are some parts showing a really big weave in the carbon fibre? Looks like a chess board in places.

They may prove me wrong, but that front end does not look aerodynamically efficient at all.

I think they are just trying to maximise the "High nose = air under the car = grip" calculation. Time will tell.

I have to say the gap between those at the front and those at the middle/back, certainly in design terms, is more obvious than ever before this year. I think alot of drivers in the mid-rear pack will be complaining of handling problems a lot this year
