Don't get me wrong...I was routing for Lewis throughout last season, and I think he thoroughly deserved the championship.

However I will be very surprised if he gets in the top 3. His interview didn't come across well, and his promo video wasn't as humble as the others.

I just don't think he has won the hearts of the British people.

Don't think that counts for much with SPOTY. Murray won it last year and he's a bit dour and bland. And Giggs beat Button in '09 and he is to personality what magnolia is to colour charts. It's all about the fan-base, and Lewis has that. Having said that, I reckon he'll be second behind McIlroy.
