According to Autosport, Force India on 21 January is just "livery launch".

Yes, I'm conscious that the cars that race at the first race are different to the cars that appear at the first test, but to say the actual car doesn't have any of the "bits" from the "launch car" is a pretty bold statement- I suspect that the basic engine architecture, gearbox, cooling, wiring loom, chassis, nose (although not necessarily front wing, granted), brakes, to name a few, will be the same.
